Arriving in the evening at Byron Bay after all the surfing I was exhausted!

My first day was spent out of Byron Bay heading to a place called Nimbin, a "hippie" town. The order of the day was switched a little due to weather, so we headed to a waterfall and then on to a lake where we had a BBQ lunch. Finally to Nimbin to check out the weird museum and funky shops. Definitely different to everywhere else I've been in Australia.

Day two, I took a walk to the lighthouse, the most easterly point of Australia. The beaches along the way were gorgeous and have made me so excited to travel further north, as they only get better!
