Graham Simon Judith started with a morning run and Sarah and Duncan went training for a big swim. The facilities on shore were very busy so the men had to resort to on board facilities later to be discussed when they compete in the tank emptying competition. Briefing was a 9 when the runners had joined the swimmers. We departed at 9.40 in lovely sunshine and managed to sail for a short while before the wind dropped and the youth jumped overboard.A lunchtime stop was abandoned as sailing slowly was preferred to motoring, much to Dave's dismay. Duncan passed his "picking up a bouy" practical although we didn't actually have to pick up a bouy as the flotilla leaders dealt with the bouy. Arrival time at 4 pm gave us plenty of time for water games and G&Ts . Some other flotilla members joined in our game of pig in the middle and Barb joined us in the rubber ring.
We met at 7.00 for a group evening meal at the Liberty beach bar. Food not bad , fish tasty but boney , meat a bit dry, but a lovely setting and did not get back to boat until late. Too tired for games tonight.
