CITO event (Cache In Trash Out) to clean up local park. It's a way of thanking the town for hosting the event. See the rubbish piled high after just under 2 hours of collecting. We all got a special Pathtag for helping. I though the fishing pole I found would win the most unusual trash object but someone brought in a geocaching container that should have been remove. Irgo trash. Now off to McDonald's to eat breakfast and use wifi.

I almost picked up the chilli pepper travel bug but decided I hadn't got enough room on the van. After party at a fried fish restaurant where I had the captains platter with whitefish, prawns, catfish, clams and fries. Yummy and washed down with a cold pint of bud light. There was a pie eating contest for Pi day but I resisted. Soon time to get back to campsite and a well deserved bed.

The day of the Texas geo challenge in Lubbock county fairground. I volunteered on the reception desk registering attendees and also watching over the silent auction items. I talked to soooo many nice people all day and traded almost all of my Pathtags. Must remember to ask Suzanne to bring my new batch out when she and the kids join me in June. I managed to win a couple of the silent auction items Yee haa.

Now I have to tell you about the Myers Family- met them at last nights event and heard that baby Liam didn't have a trackable so I activated a tb i had and created Liam's own fluffy trackable and invited mum to adopt it for Liam. Which she did. Then at the main challenge event April won the prize for the highest individual score. Well done all.

Today did one of the Lab caches at the Museum of Silent Flight. The pic shows the Dakota that used to tug the gliders aloft. Museum itself is dedicated to showing how the glider units were trained and deployed in WWII. I moseyed on down to the county show ground to help with the Mega geocaching event setup and to start registering attendees. Attended the meet and greet event.
