Day 2 and a total of 730 miles to New Orleans. So far have travelled through 6 states: North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. Time difference is now 6 hours. Damn hot during the trip and my cab Aircon is not keeping up with the heat. I'll have to get it re-gassed. Even when the heavens opened and a gale force wind blew it was still sweltering hot.

So arrived at the FQRV site (French Quarter RV) lovely shower bit of FaceTime and texting then down Bourbon street for Gumbo and Snow Crab legs. Plenty of pole dancing venues but the one I chose gave 2 beers for $6 and no entry fee. 2 dancers one Rollo polly and one stick thin. No wonder they were giving 2 beers for one. Left early to get an early night. Btw the cover pic is from my Hooters calendar.
