Met up with Brian Schlieder (an old work colleague who i'd never met) and had a peek at the Accenture offices now to be closed. Then went for a lovely British lunch -cottage pie and bangers and mash. Can't beat this American nosh. Brian was great company and I enjoyed our chat putting the world to rights. I sometimes think we could do away with politicians and run the world with a few ex telecom people.

Opened my door to a blue sky crisp calm morning to see two hot air balloons just taking off. Such a peaceful serene feeling. So full of the joys of spring I went and dumped the sewage! At the proper appointed place. Certainly woke me up!!!!

Well booked in for 3 nights at this mile high town. Well the altimeter on my watch says 1615metres (AMSL) Above Mean Sea Level. So that's 15 meters over the mile high. Just look at the mountains in the pic. The pass I will be going through on Sunday is just over 2 miles high.

Just about to set off for a 3 day stop in Denver Colorado. Just thought I'd recap my journey so far. Travelled 3115 miles Visited 11 states:- NC SC GE AL MS LO TX NM OK KS CO USED 205 US Gallons of Gasoline Consumed copious quantities of coffee and diet coke not to mention a beer or two. So off I go again

So left the RV park after helping myself to a free breakfast of coffee, cereal and toast. Filled a small hole. Showered and dressed jumped in the van in time to video a train pulling (actually 2 pulling and 1 pushing) 80 trucks rumble past. Today is raining. Full overcast miserable so time to move on. As the journey progressed the clouds thinned out and the sun broke through to make a lovely day. Stopped for brunch at a gas station - lovely bacon sausage eggs...
