Today was a relaxing day as meeting Michelle for dinner at 6 pm. Went for a bike ride round the lake and realised how much my calf muscles have got lazy! Brekky of cereals and toast. Reading a Stephen king book and snoozing in the warm sun. Lovely $1 for 6 minutes shower in a very clean shower block. I must say this is the best state park I've ever stayed at. Off to McD now to wifi and onwards to dinner. So met Michelle and partner at the Tavern in old Litt...

Back at the campsite after a visit to Safeway to pick up BBQ charcoal and wood. BBQ pork end rib meat with a washing down of beer. Finished the night in front of a nice warm fire and warm company from my camping neighbours who had travelled all the way from ---Denver! They stay at the park many weekends per year.

Opened my door to a blue sky crisp calm morning to see two hot air balloons just taking off. Such a peaceful serene feeling. So full of the joys of spring I went and dumped the sewage! At the proper appointed place. Certainly woke me up!!!!

Well booked in for 3 nights at this mile high town. Well the altimeter on my watch says 1615metres (AMSL) Above Mean Sea Level. So that's 15 meters over the mile high. Just look at the mountains in the pic. The pass I will be going through on Sunday is just over 2 miles high.
