Therese had an unsettled night again, but she's definitely on the mend. Her temperature is down to normal, no headache, no aching joints, only stomach cramps. More antibiotics this morning and a tablet to relieve the stomach cramps.

Sausage sandwich with HP Brown Sauce and a cup of proper English tea for breakfast...bloody lovely!! They weren't Richmonds like, but they'll do. Apparently, the HP costs a fortune out here, so I treat it like gold...I lathered it all over my butty and got my monies worth.

Done very little today.

Cut my hair with the clippers, but the attachment that has the prongs sticking out has one broken off. That's resulted in some dodgy patterns in my hair! Therese had to tidy it up a bit for me - good sign that she's feeling a bit better anyway. Think I'm going to give up with cutting my own hair though! Might even grow it. Maybe get dreads.

I was going to go out for an hour and a half to get some tea with John and the other guests, plus go to an Internet cafe to upload some photos, but then decided it's a bit crap leaving Therese on her own. Besides, it wouldn't have been an hour and a half, it would've been nearly 3 hours like last night and I would've got the evil eye from Therese again. Instead, I got John to rustle me something up before they all went out. Cheese on Toast with his own homemade bread! Was lovely and got two massive slices. Stuck some of the HP Brown Sauce on it as well. I don't ever normally put brown sauce on my cheese on toast, but now I know it costs so much, I feel the need to put it on everything.

I went back down to Therese to tell her I wasn't going anywhere. Then she told me she was about to watch a chick flick (oh, great!). No problem I said. And then...I did some sowing - a t-shirt that had come away at part of the seam, and a shirt that had a button missing. The button isn't even in line with the rest...

So, chick flicks and sowing, and sitting writing blogs. This is the detox.

Therese is feeling much better, it's just the bad stomach cramps and having to go to the toilet still. Hopefully another dose of antibiotics and a good nights sleep will see her right by tomorrow.
