Well, it's the first time I've had to do this, three days in one blog! The weather hasn't been great. On the 6th and 7th it was thick of cloud all the time, with very occasional light drizzle. That is not ideal weather for an island at all! So there's not much to do when it's like that. We walked around, sat in a cafe, went on the Internet, sat in our bungalow, walked around a bit more...we tried to make the most of it, but a beach resort needs sunshine. Then ...

We met at a tour office at 9.30am this morning for a boat trip. We booked it last night, and it's a full day visiting a few islands and beaches with some snorkelling, setting off at 10am and coming back at about 6pm. It started off really overcast, but we could still feel the sun. But by the time we got to the beach, the sun was really trying to get through and we could see proper sunlight...there were even shadows...! Ooooooh! There were about 14 of us on a lo...

Early start this morning, up at 6.30am! Checked out this morning to a nice surprise. I was given an envelope with 500 baht (£10) in it and told it was my change. I had no idea what it was for and questioned it a few times. The receptionist then said it was from the Manager for Lee Walker. Still don't know what it's for though. Maybe it's a bit of a bribe to put a good review on the Internet and mention nothing about all the building works going on! So that's on...

....woke up VERY late. Was after lunch anyway! And we both felt a bit ropey. We'd not planned to do anything today and it was a good job because we couldn't have! We were starving and thirsty so headed down to the shopping mall. Cheapest food is still Subway, so we shared a footlong sub again and got some fries from the golden arches. When we're hungover, we always NEED orange Fanta! McDonalds didn't have any! I walked on to the next McDonalds and they didn't h...

Such bad nights sleep! We didn't get to bed until late anyway, but then at about 7am we could just here loads of building work going on. Sounded like they were going to come through our wall, so annoying! We went downstairs and complained anyway, and it was actually the manager we spoke to. I asked to be moved rooms, and he said sorry and moved us one room on. Don't think it'll actually be that much better but at least it's away from the building work next door....
