Well, didn't feel that bad this morning, but we did have nearly 9 hours sleep. I'm sure I heard some preaching from the monks over speakerphone this morning! Had to be up at 9 though to get packed and go get our mini-bus back to Luang Prabang at 11am. We got there for about 10.50am. Well, we waited, and waited and by 11.30am I rang the Stray office and spoke to somebody to see where the bus was. They said they would find out and ring back. Took them about 15 min...

Woke up feeling pretty hungover this morning...seems to be a regular thing recently... So today we're doing what we came here to do....TUBING!! Euuurrghh...early start this morning. Got up at 4.55am and out the door for 5.15am!! Time to move to the tubing town - Vang Vieng! First off though, we had to drop our backpacks off at the Stray bus 2 blocks down from our guesthouse. Then we went up to the main street to watch "the giving of arms" (I think it's called) - giving food gifts to the monks. It was pretty busy with tourists, and the local people sell different foods to tourists to give to the monks. ...

We didn't have anything planned out for today so didn't rush around too much for a change. Didn't have the best nights sleep. We're in a really quiet area, but we're staying in like a wooden chalet type place so you can still hear anything that is going on outside. There was a young kid who was really crying last night and woke us up a few times. Seemed to be coming from the house next door. I remember looking at the time and it was 4.30am.
