....woke up VERY late. Was after lunch anyway! And we both felt a bit ropey.
We'd not planned to do anything today and it was a good job because we couldn't have!
We were starving and thirsty so headed down to the shopping mall. Cheapest food is still Subway, so we shared a footlong sub again and got some fries from the golden arches. When we're hungover, we always NEED orange Fanta! McDonalds didn't have any! I walked on to the next McDonalds and they didn't have any....neither did KFC....but Burger King saved the day. Was an absolute mission trying to find it....that's how much we NEED Fanta when hungover.
We went back to Swensens as well and shared a sundae. Lovely ice-cream place. Obviously it's American, like pretty much every other food chain here.
The other thing is, the American places have started with all the Christmas stuff. Like Starbucks have the different Christmas drinks and packaging and Christmas stuff in the windows. Swensens had little Christmas trees on the table and Christmas ice-cream cakes, plus they were playing Christmas music.....it's weird. Doesn't feel right at all. Doesn't feel like Christmas in the slightest.
That's about all we did, all day!
By the time we got back to our guesthouse it was about 5.30pm. We went to our room just to sit down for a little bit and stuck the TV on. Started watching the old classic cartoons like Bugs Bunny and Road Runner. Next thing we were asleep and didn't really surface again until 8pm!!
I went down to reception to confirm our ferry booking to Phi Phi Islands tomorrow. The manager booked it for us and it's only cost 400 Baht each (£8), whereas everywhere else it costs 600-700 baht. Think he likes us for some reason...think he likes English people.
Got that sorted and then we borrowed a DVD to watch and have an early night! It was called Killers with Ashton Kutcher. Not a bad film actually.
Had to bloody pack after it though. Not such an early night after all!
Early start in the morning....
