Started out slow this morning with brekkie at the local bar. Mauro, Gabriella and Daniele picked me up in the car and we drove to their flat in Brazio, which is in thenmountains about an hour from
Milan. We then packed up and went for a Walk in the mountains, to a height of about 2,000 meters. Fantastic views etc but I only had runners and they weren't that great for bushwalking. After the walk we stopped at a Refugio for polenta taragno, which is particular to the mountain area. Yummy!
Had lunch then we had a rest in the sun for about half an hour before making our way down the mountain. The cable car ride to and from the mountain was spectacular and as all enjoyed the walk very much. We then went for a walk in the town, a very quaint town near lake Como. Beautiful place. Drove home for dinner with Zia Gina and uncle Paolo and dad. After that the Nazzaris came over to say goodbye. Came back Tia the hotel bad packed my gear- long day! But very enjoyable.
