Woke up early after running to the loo all night. Tummy is still very quezy and I am anlittlenconcerned as I am heading into the Duomo this morning. No brekkie we'll see how the tummy travels.
Went to the Duomo without incident - I have never been there and had the time to just sit and wineries at the architecture and beauty of this church. I have been there a number ofttimes now but view it through different eyes each time. I was sitting enjoying the silence when my phone rang and dad asked me to go to Monza with him and Zio Paolo. I got bAck on the train and headed to Affori station and met them there. We went to Monza and bought anglass piece for mum. It is a beautiful piece shaped like a fish and blue. Magnificent. Went back to Milan and went to Daniele's place for lunch before Daniele, Alessandro, Mauro and I headed off to the Ambrosia library where we saw many beautiful art pieces and then secs ones the original drawings of Leonardo Da Vinci. The library has 1100 original drawings. They were fascinating. We went then for coffee and headed to the chapel of Maria Maggiore where we saw some other drawings of Leonardo. Finally we came home to Paolo's place then headed off to house for dinner. A lovely soup then a veal dish and sweets. Not to mention to formaggio!
Got home to the hotel at about 11.00 pm and am totally exhausted. Looking forward to a quieter day tomorrow.
