The day started with a casual walk in the park.
Mauro came to pick me up and we went to the Parco Nord, the biggest park in Milan - it is about 30 km around. We also visited the public velodrome that is part of the park - interesting idea!
We then walked to Paolo's place and had lunch - lasagna, stewed pork and formaggio. Bloated. Everyone went for a rest and I sat on the couch and also had a little siesta. Daniele arrived and he took me on the public transport route to my hotel where I changed and we went back to Paolo's place. Paolo and dad and I went to find the murrain glass place, but to no avail. We then went back to Paolo's house for a short tet a tet with Gina before dad Paolo and I went to Mauro and Roberta's for dinner. Mauro served an octopus entree followed by his famous fish soup. It was very nice. We followed up with formaggio and coffee - of course. We left about 10.30 and I was dropped back at the hotel. Had a terrible night with about 6 visits to the loo. Thank God for imodium!
