Doctor in the house!!!!

Ive NEVER been on holiday with Stu without it resulting in a trip to either the hospital or a GP so god knows why I though this trip would be any different! Yesterday we had to go to see the local doctor as Stu has developed an ear infection from going in the pool too much and getting water trapped behind his ear! As you can imagine we had to sit and wait for what seemed like hours before the GP finally syringed his ears and gave his some ear drops to clear up the infection - no more swimming for Stu for a few days! He was also considering doing another skydive but cant now as the GP said it would be too dangerous!!!

We spent the other night at in a very small town called Cardwell where we met some real local Aussies who invited us back to theirs for a party! For some reason (too much to drink) we accepted the offer and spent the night getting wasted in some strangers garage listening to Cypress Hill surrounded by 5 illegal pit bull terriers - wont be doing that again!!!! Although I have to say they were a great laugh and were really hospitable. The hangover was not so good though!

Were in Misson Beach at the moment and the weather is in the 30's but the humidity at night is killing us! We cant keep the aircon on as the engine has to be on so its boiling hot and if we keep the windows open we get bitten to death by mossies. Plus there are so many other creepy crawlies around which we don't want in the van - including spiders as big as your hand!!!!

Off to Cairns tomorrow to do some reef diving and take in the rain forests so will keep you posted
