Day 39! We were up at the crack of dawn today to go on our road trip to the Grand Canyon!! Our trip was to the west rim of the canyon, on a Native American reservation. The views were just incredible, I cannot do it justice with any photos or descriptions! Just wow. The one thing I hadn't thought of was there are no safety railings or anything, you can just go up as near to the edge as you like. That did not help my chronic fear of heights! Day 38! We went for breakfast at Denny's and then went for a walk along the strip for most of the day. The Las Vegas strip is HUGE. I can't even explain the size of the hotels and resorts. We saw little Paris and little Venice, and gambled on the penny slots (lost $3). We went for a buffet at the Monte Carlo and then played at the blackjack table (lost $15). Day 37! Not a huge amount to report today, we checked out of our hostel in LA and got a 6.5hr bus to Vegas. Our hotel is huge, and I bet it's the smallest one on the strip! I have an interview in the morning so the others went out in Vegas while I'm staying in to prepare. Hopefully I'll have more to report tomorrow! L x

Day 36! We went on a bus tour of Beverly Hills, Bel Air and celebrity homes this morning, which was fun! Saw everyone's mansions from Tom Cruise to the Beckham's. When we got back we got straight on a bus to Venice beach. It was cool to see but it was so tacky and full of crazies. Definitely something to see once and not again.
