Today we went to the Eiffel Tower and unfortunately the stories of huge lines were entirely true - even when we made it through the line at the bottom we still had to queue for a long time coming up and down each level of the tower. The views were definitely great and we couldn't come to Paris without visiting it, but the Eiffel Tower definitely something of a box ticking exercise. We have also been blessed by gorgeous weather and it should continue for the rest of the week which did make it the perfect day to be up the Eiffel Tower as we could see so far!

After making our way back to the hotel exploring other parts of Paris, we made our way to our apartment that we will be in for the rest of our time here. It was quite the battle on the metro with all our bags but the location is great, right in between the Louvre and Marais areas, making it very central for the rest of our wanderings.
