Hi anyone who is reading.
Lauren has been pecking my head about doing a blog entry so here is my first attempt.
To start from where Lauren left off was our final night in Bangkok, all she missed was the chicken kebab on the way back to the hotel. This has to have been the tastiest thing i have ever had in my mouth. Possibly it was the Chang's before it, softening my taste buds but it was delicious. Id also like to add that the picture Lauren posted on Facebook shows what looks us to be shaving a beer, I can confirm this is not true and hers is just out of shot.
Anyway, yesterday we travelled from Bangkok to krabi on the night bus. The day seemed to start well.... but then snowballed a little bit. Firstly Lauren throwing a hissy fit with a tuk tuk man coz he wanted to take us to some gem sale instead of the bus station, we jumped in a taxi in the end and left him standing in the road. On reflection the whole thing was hilarious. Then the worst three things that could've happened, happened! My strap on my flip flops broke, I ripped a huge hole in the crotch of me favourite shorts, and then the strap of my backpack give way.
Anyway you know me I not one to dwell on things, so put on a brave face and went for a coffee.........
YES, we were getting the night bus and I went for a coffee. Even though the coach was superb, it was the longest night of my life. The kindle, iPhone and iPad all ran out of batteries after a couple of hours, so for the remaining 10hrs i watched Lauren sleep. Creepy ehy?
Okay. So today we are in krabi. We decided to go straight to the beach for a rest day and to cheer me up. I'm not normally one to be stuck for words but this beach was paradise and perked us up. I originally thought it was Ao Nang, but we have later found out it wasn't as that was around the bay so need to investigate what its called.
The weather is supposedly cooler in krabi, it was 35°c today which is 5°c less than Bangkok. I couldn't tell the difference. all I know is it's too hot.
Tonight we are going to a night market, possibly to catch salmonella or whatever there equivalent of Delhi belly is. Stay tuned for a poo update.
Lauren has lots of pictures to upload, so you'll have something to see when we find a computer. Should be some good ones.
Happy birthday to my sister Tina
Love to everyone
