Friday We decided to wander up to the town after breakfast and have a look around the shops. It's a nice little town with a lot of surf shops. We then went to the travel agents to sort out Zealand which is now a week away and then to a bead shop where we made our own necklaces. Thursday Got up early to catch the bus to Byron Bay via Brisbane. Turned out to be the same bus that took us to the zoo the previous day. 3 hours to Brisbane, an hours wait in the coach terminal and then 3 hours to Byron getting us in around 4pm and unfortunately into the rain! Today we woke up early to head to the Australia Zoo which I was quite excited to visit. Run by the Irwin family and home of the crocodile hunter I had seen it on tv an heard good things about it. We hopped on the greyhound bus at 8.10am and made it to the zoo around 10am. This morning we had the pancake breakfast and then waited for the bus to Noosa. We got in at 12.40 and got on the free shuttle to the hostel.
