Today both Chris and Paul were at work so we had the house to ourselves. Chris had left us a note with our jobs for the morning - nothing too strenuous today! This morning we woke up to a note from Chris saying that she'd taken Kelly to the vet. After we'd had our breakfast, Chris returned to say that the vet had had to put Kelly to sleep - very sad news, but probably for the best. Chris had brought her home and laid her in the bedroom. Today our work was slightly different to yesterday - we had to tear down a massive fence at the back of the garden. This involved pulling apart the metal sheeting and pulling it off the fence posts, and removing all of the fence posts out of the ground. Today the work began…no more wineries for us for now! Our first job for Chris and Paul was to help clear out their garage and 'pit' behind it. We worked hard all morning, carrying out all sorts of rubbish - old microwaves, a TV, old window frames, metal sheeting, you name it!
