After an extremely lazy day yesterday we decided to walk to the Golden Gate Bridge. You may think its not that far but it was a major stomp. Took us a few hours to get there. The weather was sunny but super windy.
The Bridge looked really eerie as it was covered in fog. Looked really good. Walking across it took maybe 30 mins. Couldnt help but look for people who might be jumpers... saw a few ahhhhh scary times......
Cant really understand why people would jump off the Bridge as it was soooo busy all the time.
After all that walking we caught a tour bus back and we went past some really cool luxary houses and even the house from Miss Doubtfire. completely misleading as it is in the middle of a housing estate... not area from the movie. Being in America definately wrecks the movie scene for us as we have seen all the short cuts they take.
We stopped to buy food in the supermarket. Healthy food is super expensive. If i wanted a cake i could get one for super cheap, but we had to pay $3 for a pepper. It wasnt even that big. Laura actually looked like she could have keeled over right there. But if it helps it definately tasted good in our food but maybe not that good.
We got a bit confused with the movie night tonight. We thought it was Man on Fire and were prepared to watch that awesome movie... instead it was Man on Wire?! I know what a downer :)
It was actually a pretty cool documentary movie about the guy who wired walked the Twin Towers. It looked amazing. The pics and footage was amazing especially as he did it back in the 1970's as soon as they were built. The guy was an absolute french loon though :)
