Early wake up call...5am Urghhhhh for the long bus journey to the Grand Canyon yippeee!
We paid extra go to a better part of the Grand Canyon so we could have more time in the canyon and see it from different parts.
Took about 2 hours to get to the entrance and then a few more to get into the Canyon. On route we saw the Hoover Dam which was pretty impressive.
Our first stop was at Eagle Point, named after the rocks that are shaped like an Eagle (obvious). The views were stunning! Not seen anything like it. The Canyon was massive and stretched as far as the eye could see. this point is on Native Indian ground so there were a few walking around which was cool.
The second stop was equally as impressive. The rocks looked a completely different colour. The views from every point were indescribable really. Hopefully the pictures show a little of what it was really like.
when we got back to Vegas we changed and went straight back out to see some more of the fab hotels. Started up the other end of the strip and got to see MGM and Excalibar which were pretty big. We went in New York New York where they have a roller coaster on top of the hotel and a Coyote Ugly bar inside WOW, and a statue of Liberty but way smaller of course. It was quite strange walking along the street only to pass the Brooklyn Bridge. The Paris hotel was pretty cool with the Effiel Tower outside with a resteraunt inside and decorated like the streets of Paris. Bizarre...
We spent so long looking at all the fabulous sights that we forgot about the time and we still had to pack...... which went on till 2am if not later Oops
