Today was free entry into the Academy of the Sciences (museum). We were told to get there early as its usually $26 to get in so there might be a few people queueing.
That was a major understatement. We got there at 10am bearing in mind it only opened at 9.30am.
The queue was huge. We walked past the entrance, down the road, round some corners and then we found the end. We were told the wait might be a few hours. At first it went pretty quick but then we realised that was because they were filling the building to its max capacity.
So we waited.... and waited..... and waited.......
It was freezing. The weather was the coldest it has been so far.
We finally made it to the entrance 2.5 hours later. Wow we were dedicated! But when we got there we found out the Planetarium show was sold out :( we really wanted to see this.

it was pretty amazing inside. Defo worth the wait.
Laura managed to blag us tickets into the sold out planetarium show which was good work on her part.
that show was the best part of the whole show. Its the best Planetarium in the whole of the US and it was all so really. Really felt like we were flying through space. Uber cool :)

Laura cooked me Pasta for tea. that was pretty amazing! Veg at last yum yum
