As we were in a bit of a rush, we missed off quite a bit from the last blog. So back to Queenstown.... If you remember the Luging in Rotorua, we also did the same here, this time we did 6 runs of the track, and Laura and Shani have the best photographs of it all. We laughed like excited school kids...... Brilliant! As we were here quite a while we went to the pictures to see Rio and even entered a pub quiz. Unfortunately we came well LAST! Next stop was the Glaciers. We woke up early to go and see the sun rising over Fox Glacier and it looked amazing! We went for a walk around a lake and saw the reflection of Mount Cook and Mount Tasmin in the water. The snow capped mountains looked stunning with the sun just hitting the top of them. After our piss up in Wellington we made it down to the South Island......after the worlds worst boat ride EVER!!! We were told by loads of people that the boat ride is really pretty and has stunning views so we were quite looking forward to it. The journey to Wellington began well as Laura managed to smash into the lampost pulling out the driveway of Shani's aunts...... She isn't allowed near the driver seat now. It has added some more character to our all ready blemished van however!! We met Shani's cousin Sam after a ride up the cable car to a beautiful view over Wellington. After having non stop rain for a few days the weather finally gave in to us and it's been beautiful ever since. We found a free campsite and decided to sit, chill, read a book and basically sit and top up our tans for a few days.
