hi all,

so.....from the last entry we said goodbye to max and setlled into our FREEZING studio apartment and continued to work our butts off at the lovely Coyotes.

Not all was bad though as we got to meet the infamous (wait for it)...........Brendan Cole!!!! (on 2 separate occasions), he came in for food with his dad and step-mum (our boss). We were frickin loving it. Lucy wanted to ask him to sign her boobs but we thought best not to. Lol contemplated asking him to do one of his pirouettes in the middle of the restaurant but once again not appropriate. Loved it though!!! he he! I wonder how bombhead is these days!?!?

This probably being the highlight of the last month not a whole lot else has happened. Lol got ill with compilabacta and off work for a week. its a form of food poisoning which was a right treat and the doctors had to notify the department of health because it was contagious!!!! neece one!!

Finally finished work after 4 months!!! phew!!!! no more wrapping napkins, polishing cutlery or dealing with frickin stupid customers who often thought that we actually served coyote on the menu!!! idiots!! we?then proceeded to pack up all of our crap, give half of it away just so we could fit it all back in our rucksacks!!!

monday (30th) saw the arrival of Mr Ainsley (lucy's dad). luce met him at the airport which was wicked and brought him back to christchurch. spent the afternoon catching up and then went out for dinner to coyotes which was lovely. next day luce took him on the tram around the city, to the museum and the art gallery. very cultural. that evening we went out for souvlaki and got the final bits of our flat packed up. had brekkie with all the guys from work the next morning for emily's birthday at drexals!!! yum!!! had to say goodbye to all the guys which was a little emotional but hopefully a group of them are going to come down to queenstown and visit us!!! (they'd better!!!) we then picked up the hire car aka Dave the estate and set off on our travels.
