Unfortunately (and stupidly) I slept through my alarm this morning, and so we missed out on the grand canyon tour, so instead I went to check out the Hard Rock casino, as it isn't on the main strip and so we didn't visit it yesterday. It was cool to see Mark Hoppus and Tom De Longe's guitars and even though I don't like slipknot, the masks were so scary that I had to take a picture. A guy came up to me and started talking to me, and creeped me out by saying he'd seen me from the car park and had followed me in. He wouldn't leave me alone, and kept trying to hold my hand on the walk back to the main strip, so eventually I just told him I'd go to the M&M factory on my own.

I got a few M&M's, despite me intending not to, which included dark chocolate, almond covered ones and peanut butter. They had a free 3D film screening of a film called 'I lost my M in Vegas' which was about the red M&M gambling away the M on his front, and then him trying to find it in the room of lost causes. It had extra effects like a wind machine to make you feel like you were being sucked in by the vacuum cleaner too. You could get personalised M&M's, with messages like 'Will you marry me?" and "I had a great time in Vegas".

I got the bus back to the hostel, where Alice had paid for another night as she didn't want to spend the night in the airport as we had intended. Our Indian roommate took us and Lars, a German guy, to an Indian restaurant for dinner, and we got a free naan because the guy thought Alice had ordered a garlic naan instead of plain.

We then went to Stratosphere, so that we could go on the rides there, and to look up the tower. This first ride we went on was something that tipped you so it felt and looked like you were going to go straight down over the tops of the buildings. I felt too nervous to sit at the front, but it wasn't actually as bad as the ride after that which is one of the ones which plunges you up and down. Because I had a lot of space in between my body and the seat belt system, I was flung up and down because it was so fast. The photos were quite funny from it though.

I played a couple of rounds on the roulette table, just to say I've done it and then walked back to the hostel.
