This morning we drove out to Litchfield, it took about an hour. The first place we went to was the magnetic termites, they all face north-south this is so there is always a section in shade to keep an good temperature for the termites. They looked a bit like tombstones, we also looked at some huge termite mounds. Next we went to the Buley ponds, it was great, we put on our bathers and went in the pools. Some pools were deep enough to dive in, we also found a section where you could slide down the rushing water. There were different levels and little waterfalls. At one stage Charlotte slipped on a rock because it was so slippery. Next we went to Florence Falls and had a picnic lunch by the creek, then we walked to the lookout, it was beautiful. There were stairs which led down to the base of the waterfall. We went down and swam in the water, dad and I went out to the waterfall and swam under it. Charlotte was scared of the fish swimming in the water, but we all got and and swam and dived in the water. After we drove to the turn off to the lost city, dad got out and went with uncle Mark, we went to Wangi Falls and had an ice cream and drink. When we had finished we walked down to the falls they were awesome, we went in for a swim. When dad got ther we swam out into the deep water and found a hole in the cliff where you could sit like you're in a spa. Dad and I swam under the big water fall. When we drove back to the caravan park we went a different way along a section of dirt road, which as you know mum doesn't like. There was so much dust that we had to stop before we went up some hills and around corners, because we were following Uncle Mark. We got back safely and went on the jumping pillow and I jumped in the pool. Charlotte fell off her bike coming back from the jumping pillow and hurt her arm. Then we had dinner in bed and watched a movie. Charlotte's arm swelled up and Mum took her to the hospital, they had to stay there the night because she broke her arm.
