Today we drove into the city of Darwin, we went to the water front for a look around, there is a wave pool, which looks amazing but its closed, waaa! We went and looked at the shops and I got a Darwin t-shirt with a cute koala, Ethan got a crocodile and Charlotte got a kookaburra rthat you need to build. We looked around the city and looked at stuff abiut Cyclone Tracy, it hit Darwin in 1974 Christmas eve and wrecked most of the city, so buildings had to be repaired or built again. We also looked at some WW2 stuff, Darwin was bombed by the Japanese, ships were sunk, buildings destroyed and people killed, scary stuff. After lunch, sushi, yum we went to a beach part of the water front. You can't swim at the beaches here because of crocodiles and jelly fish, so they have built a section for swimming it was cool. When we got back to the caravan park, mum and dad took us to the big pool, they sat and had a drink while we swam with friends we have made here.
