Today we drove out to Menindee, we went to the town and then looked at the lakes. It was so dry that most of the lakes were nearly empty. Dad drove us out on a red dirt road and we had lunch on the sand, which would be in the water if it was full. Later we drove to Poci Hollow it had water and grass, because it was the last part of the lake system and there is a spill way there that slows the water. We had icecreams from the shop and played on the playground. It was wierd having so much grass and water in a really dry place.Later we got a phone call about Grandad and mum and dad decided we had to go home in the morning.
