We stayed at Lightning Ridge for 2 nights the first night we set up and looked around the park, we made friends with some kids staying near us. The park had a pool and camp kitchen and we were staying right near the pool which was quite warm, its solar heated. The next day we did the tourist thing wr went to the Cactus gardens which had some weird and really huge cactus. Then we went to Amego's Castle it was built by a local guy whose nickname was Amego. It never got to finish it because the local council stopped him. It was totally awesome to walk through and would be great for a party. Later that day we went to the Artesian Baths which mum said the town is famous for. Carlotte got to swim in it with us because she had no plaster anymore. Everyone loved it but I thought it was too hot. It was about 40 degrees and I felt sick walking back to the caravan park. When we got back we went swimming in the pool it was way better then the baths. That night it poured with rain all night at the caravan park.
