We got up today at about 11 and watched a bit of MTV. I helped Darren take the plaits out of his hair, which took ages! Then we headed down to the Waterfront restaurant for lunch. By the time the dessert was supposed to come out, we were too full so we just left. As we walked out I saw Nava by the lifts so I went and scared her. Darren went back up to the room, because he wanted to get ready before his rehearsal for the pop stars thing. I went with Nava up to the top deck, where we met Gina and Emma having lunch. They told me their news; they had won the Snowball Bingo Jackpot and won $4700! I gave Emma some of my eczema cream to help with her badly burnt face, and then went back down to the cabin. Eddy rang and came down to the cabin to meet us. Darren went off to his pop stars rehearsal, and Eddy and I went to meet Gina and Emma in Connexions. On the way we had a chat with our room cleaner, and finally found out his name: Viddy!!! After a chat with him, we went up to the Connexions bar and got a drink. We had a chat with Macca, Benny and James?? while we waited for the girls. When they came the game started. Eddy got bored with it after a bit and left, and then Darren met us there, and then him and Emma left not long after. We didn't win but it was pretty fun anyway. Then I went down to reception and got my jacket from the lost and found, and gave Emma some more cream. Then I went back up to the cabin where Darren was having a nap. I packed up most of the bags, because we had to leave them outside the cabin at 5, then Eddy came round for some photo swapping. I finished packing what I could, put the bag outside for collection, then the three of us went down to the Waterfront restaurant for tea. We met Emma out the front, then went inside and met Gina at the table, and then Leigh, Nava and Steph got there not long after. We had our last dinner on board the ship in our big group, and I got some photos off Nava. Then we went to look at the professional photos that they had up, and worked out which ones we would buy. We went to Connexions for a bit and talked with the others to work out what photos to get, then went and bought photos. Then we hung out in Connexions for a while longer, and had a few drinks, then headed over to the Marquee to watch the pop stars final. Darren left a bit before we did, because he had to go backstage. When we went in, there was still a movie being played, which ran a bit longer than they had expected, but then they started the show. Darren was up first, and did Eagle Rock again. It was pretty entertaining; he used the microphone stand as a guitar and ran around the stage with it in the instrumental section. After he finished and went off stage the screen showed Scotty in the backstage area, doing silly things like pretending to be drunk and that sort of thing. There were five other people performing as well. One lady was wearing a sparkly dress and a wig and did the worst dance moves to Mamma Mia, an old guy did a cute version of an old romance song, one guy did a horrible version of Living On A Prayer, another guy did a shaky version of I’m Yours, and the final girl was actually pretty good and did I’ve Got The Music In Me. It was a pretty funny night, and at one stage on the backstage screen thing, Darren 'smacked that’ to Scotty, which was pretty hilarious. After the show, obviously, the girl with the good voice won it, but I think Darren would have won if she wasn’t there, because the others weren’t that great! After the show we stayed in the Marquee for a little bit and talked to Scotty and Alex then headed back over to Connexions for a few more drinks. After they called last drinks, and Eddy and the others tried to convince Alex to take them to the crew bar, the others wanted to go up to the Attic, so we decided we’d go to bed. We got back to the cabin, but wanted to get some water, so we went for a walk down to reception, but you couldn’t buy it there, so we went up to the Attic and met up with the others. We got a bottle of water, then hung out up on the top deck for a bit, and decided we’d get up to watch the sunrise and the land come in. Darren and I went back down to bed after that while the others stayed up for a bit more Attic time.
