We got up this morning at about 5.30am, and rang Eddy's room. She was like, 'have fun with that’ and didn’t come. Then I rang Gina’s room and they said maybe. So we just went up to the buffet and got some breakfast and went out onto the back deck. It was just getting light, and the view was pretty amazing. We didn’t see much of a sunrise, because it was pretty overcast, but it was really pretty anyway. Gina and Emma showed up and we watched the land coming in. After we finished eating we went up to the top deck so we could see the opera house and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. There were some amazing views, and it looked like the ship wasn’t going to fit underneath! After we were through that, we went back down to the cabin to try and get a quick nap in before we had to be out of the cabin at 8am. We got all the final stuff packed up and went over to meet the others at Connexions bar. I was going to swap photos with Emma, but her hard drive wouldn’t read on the computer. When everyone was there, we went over to the Marquee, except Nava and Steph who went to get breakfast. We got a seat and chilled for a bit, then said goodbye to Emma and Gina when their number was called. Eddy and Leigh were on the same number, so they left too. We waited about another half hour then our number was called and we went down to deck 5 and got off board the ship. We picked up our luggage, and then went through customs, where we declared our two new wooden instruments, which we were allowed to keep. Then we met Eddy and Leigh in the waiting area and waited for Nava and Steph to come in. When they got there we got in a maxi taxi and went to a plaza that was close to the airport. We walked up to the cinema there with all of our luggage, which looked pretty funny, and went and bought tickets to a movie called Morning Glory. Darren and I went down to get some Maccas before the movie started. They got the order wrong as usual, so I just had chips. Then we went into the theatre. The movie was okay, Eddy and Darren had a popcorn throwing mini war, and some people who sat where all our luggage was started a new joke in the group of saying "I choose to sit there" etc. After the movie we went down to the food court and got some food, then headed out to get a cab to the airport. We ended up getting in two normal cabs instead of a maxi, because they said it would work out about the same price. When we got to the airport, we sat down and swapped some photos for a while, then checked in and went through security. We sat down at a table there and got onto the free wifi for a bit with a boost juice. Then we finally said goodbye to the others and headed to our departure gate only to find out that our flight had been delayed for an hour and a half! By the time we actually got on the plane and got going it was three hours from the original departure time and I was getting tired and grumpy! On the plane I had a little sleep while Darren had a pretty good chat with the guy that was sitting next to us, Nathan. When we landed, we got our luggage and met Steve out on the road at Avalon airport. Then we finally drove home sweet home. :)
