Today we slept in until about 1pm, but Darren got up earlier to get some fruit from the buffet at breakfast before coming back up to bed. When we woke up we went up to the deck to have a look at the Aussie Barbecue that they had on, but it looked pretty ******, so we looked at the buffet as well before deciding to go down to the restaurant for lunch. When we asked for a table for two, the waiter led us to a table of six, which already had four people on it, and tried to seat us there, with people we didn't know. Darren explained we wanted a table for two, and then they took us to a different table to eat. We had some lunch and some awesome dessert before heading down to the reception. We bought some laundry powder and some duty free alcohol, which we won’t get until the last day, then went back up to our cabin. We sorted our washing and went over to the laundrette. I did the washing and read a book while it washed and dried, while Darren just went back to the cabin to sleep. After the washing was finished and put away, I went up to the deck to see if any of the others were there. I walked around a bit, but no one was there, so I went down to Eddy’s cabin, and hung out with her for a bit. She said that Leigh and Steph were up on the deck somewhere, so I left her to go back to sleep and went back up to the deck to find them. I couldn’t find them, so I just got a drink and sat on a deck chair and watched the band. When their set was finished, I went back down to the cabin. Darren was feeling a bit sick, so he was going to stay in bed, and he said Eddy had called not long ago to say she was going to get a coffee, so I went down to the café to meet her there. She wasn’t there, so I went over to the buffet, and found everyone there. We had some dinner and a chat for a bit, then headed down to Connexions bar to hang out for a bit. The jazz band was playing there, and we watched them while Eddy went to get changed, and Nava and Steph were showering. Gina met us there too, and I went up to get changed out of my bathers. Darren was still feeling gross, so I went to get him some Aspro clear and peppermint tea, then got changed and went back to Connexions. When everyone was there, we had a few drinks then headed up to the deck for the entertainment up there. They had some line dancing happening, and some games. They did the Nut bush in the line dancing, and gave out straws to the six best dancers. Leigh and I both got one, and when it was over, the six people went up the front and got blindfolded and had to do the nut bush again! They unblindfolded us one at a time, and left one guy dancing, thinking all the others were dancing too. It was pretty funny. Then they played a game where you danced around and picked a corner, and people got eliminated at random corners when the music stopped. Leigh almost won this one. Then we played one called Bang, where Scotty went round the circle and 'shot’ someone, then they had to duck down and the people either side had to ‘bang’ each other before they got banged. Eddy almost won that one; she got down to the top three. Then they played a game where it was girls against guys, and you had to put a balloon between your knees, waddle up to Scotty for the girls, and Brooke for the guys, put the balloon on their lap and jump on them to pop it, and the first group to pop all their balloons won. When I got to Scotty, he moved the balloon as I was about to jump on! So I had to do it twice. Eddy was the last girl, and when she jumped on him, he pretended he got a hit in the groin and crawled away. The girls won though, and we got some key rings. After that, we headed back down to Connexions for the Popstars heat 2. Gina and I both went in it, she sang The Special Two and I sang Throw Your Arms Around Me. Neither of us got through, but it was fun anyway. After that, we hung around chatting for a while, then when the workers were packing up, they gave us the green and gold balloons that they had us everywhere, and us and a couple of guys that were there were jumping on them and popping them, which was pretty funny. Then we went up to the Attic for a bit, but because it was the Attic I stayed about 10 minutes then went down to bed.
