Kya Travels
After we slept in again today, we got ready and I read an email I'd gotten, saying I had been accepted into a graduate diploma of teaching at Swinburne online! I wasn't too sure how to feel about it, as I had almost made up my mind that I didn't want to do it anymore! Oh well. Have to think about it all again now! To get properly accepted, there was a Maths test I had to complete (because I couldn't remember where I put my VCE results to ask someone to find them for me) so I sent an email off to get a username/password to do the test, then we headed downstairs. Karina was making pancakes, and made us some apple and sultana pancakes, which were pretty yummy! Then she had to practice some facepainting again, so while Darren practiced his scales on guitar, I got turned into a beautiful butterfly! It took only 7 minutes, which she was worried about, because it was apparently too long! Afterwards we all had a cuppa and a chat and just hung out for a while, until the neighbour, Steve, and his girlfriend came around. Karina is teaching her how to make glitter tattoos, so I ended up getting two glitter tattoos, of an anchor and a parrot, turning me into a butterfly pirate! When they left we just chilled out a while longer and Karina practiced another facepainting design on Darren, turning him into a very pretty pink kitty cat! It looked very funny on him! When she was done, she got him to wipe it off so she could do it again! Afterwards Karina went down to the shops for something while Darren showered and turned back into a human, then when they were both back we all walked together down to the supermarket, while I was still a butterfly! We got a bunch of groceries for dinner, and ended up going to three different supermarkets to get everything we needed! When we had everything we went back home and started to cook. Or at least Karina started to cook, and Darren and I were her slushies! After a bit, Karina's friend Annaleen came over to share dinner with us. We finished cooking and all had an absolutely amazing dinner together! We had a delicious starter of breads with the best herb butter ever, and a pesto made from carrot leaves! It was delicious! Then the main dish came, which was a giant plate of grilled vegetable salad. It was so amazing! I ate too much bread, so couldn't eat all my salad though! (Yummy lunch tomorrow at least! Yay!) We had lots of drinks and amazing food over the night, and had a great chat and laugh together. Annaleen was really really nice too! We had a bit of a YouTube session, exchanging music, and dancing around very silly, which was very fun. After a while, we had to (very reluctantly) say goodnight to Annaleen who had to ride home, then the three of us spent the rest of the night chilling and chatting and playing some guitar. We ended up in a bit of a D&M about families, morals and religions, then after a while it was about 2:30 and Karina said she was going to bed. So I played her a song that I just made up about not going to sleep, and that its not time for bed! Pretty funny! But we did end up going to bed eventually, a little (or a lot) drunk at 3am!
