today was a long day. we caught the local bus at 9am to Corfu where we walked a short distance in the heat to the airport. Our flight was meant to depart at 11.45am but was delayed until just after 13.30 (something due to Greece airtraffic control strikes) With easyjst you dont get seat allocation so when the inbound aircraft arrived we all rush to the gate waiting for boarding time. then everyone rushes from the bus to the aircraft.

We arrived in Gatwick where both got through customs quickly but had to wait ages for our bags. we decided to catch the bus as it was cheaper but we then found out we had to wait about 1 1/2 hours.

The bus dropped us off and we caught the tube to our hostel arriving 8pm uk time (10pm Greece time) we didnt get to bed until 1am (greece time) as we had things to prepare for tomorrow
