my birthday... woke up and got some great presents from Andrew. I then skyped Mum and Dad while andrew and i watched the storm which was at sea came towards us. there was a couple of water spouts that we could see. the storm reached us and it was so loud and the lightening real bright.
we hired a scooter not sure what we were going to do as it wasnt that warm in the end we went with our original idea of going to Aqualand. we had a greeat time. the wave pool is the 3rd largest in the world. they had all sorts of rides some of them looked tame bit turned out to haave hidden steep drops. on one ride that used a tube grabbed one that was missing a handle by mistake this resulted in Andrew flying out of the tube at the end. the weather warmed up so we ended up staying until closing time. for dinner we went to a traditional Greek restaurant . the seating area was under a grapevine canopy and the had two guys playing the bouzouki.

In the picture you can see a blue slide and it doesnt look that steep in the pict but it took us both a long time before we decided to do it and not many people were going down it.
