Today we headed into Vienna's centre. We looked around the sights and we saw the Hofburg Palace (an Imperial palace, the Habsburg family is a big deal in Vienna and they used to live in this palace!) in and around the palace were mainly museums.

We wandered around the Naschmarkt markets - Saturday is the main day but today they had heaps of fruit , veges, olive and feta stalls. We had lunch there before going to Schloss Schonbrun - the Habsburgs 1440 room summer palace. We didnt end up looking through the inside, but the gardens were amazing! The was a fountain that was built in the year 1777. Also in the grounds was the worlds oldest Zoo. We went in to the labyrinth garden maze which was a series of hedge mazes and puzzle games.

At night we met Lina and Glenn at the travellers bar. We played this game where you take turns at nailing your nail into a log.. The catch is the hammers end was an odd shape, it had a very thin end!!! Our busabout guide arrived and join in the fun as well.

Some of our fellow busabouters were doing a pub crawl originally the 4 of us werent going to do this but in the end we paid our money and joint in. We all walked down to the train station and 5 of us went to buy tickets for the train, we turned around and the rest of the group had left with out us. (we looked on in horror as the train was dissapering into the distance and we didnt know what station they would stop at!) So we ran back to the bar that was organising the pub crawl and got the bar guy to contact the leader..... we then ran back to the train station and hopped on the train only to find the leader had told us to hop on the train going the wrong direction. Once we we finally met up with the group we had a great night. The guy made it up to us by giving us free drinks and then with everyone else we got pizza and free shots. We could go home whenever we wanted and we just had to hop on the bus around the corner but no one knew how to buy tickets so we all just hopped on anyway without tickets!
