Well back to Brisbane we came.

Decided to be brave and book into a dorm. Oh dear!!!! Definately not cut out for dorm life if this is the way of life. Arrived at 12pm and our dorm mates were still in bed. After making a lot of noise to stash our bags made a sharp exit. Spent the day in and around Brisbane, doing the tourist thing. Cooked dinner in the hostel kitchen, disgusting is an understatement. Its a good job we had all our jabs before we came. That should have prepared us for the bathrooms and showers - i felt dirtier on the way out than i did going in.

Today we once again did our washing so of course it rained all day!!!

Walked all over Brisbane again in the rain. Even sat on Street Beach (a fake beach made by the river) anything to avoid going back to our horrible hostel.

One of our room mates works nights so although out for the evening comes in at 6am and wakes us all up. And he really really smells (mature we know!).

On the whole not overly impressed with Brisbane. Looking forward to the next stage of our trip - the Whitsundays!!!!!!
