After yet another 12 hour train journey (no sleep again - bloody children running up and down the train at 3 in the morning!!!!) we arrive in Prosopine with a quick bus trip over to Airlie Beach - gateway to the Whitsundays and it is beautiful.

We are staying at a place called Magnums and have a private room this time - not taking any chances with this one. Its a bit of a party central but we have decided to try and embrace our inner 18 year olds and get on with it.

We are in bunk beds but we have air con!! (even 18 year olds need air con so not being all old womany) shower are clean and kitchen is doable so can't complain to much.

Airlie is a very sweet little town but busy. Everyone is in and out on boat trips. They have a beautiful lagoon (pools etc) looking out over to the sea so i know where i will be for the next few days! Becky is doing well on the sun appreciation front. Believe it or not she actually looks a little bit tanned!!

We are off to enjoy the sun!
