Merry Christmas!!!!

Wow what a week I've had! Last Monday we had 15 people over for dinner! It was our work xmas dinner! It was really nice and chilled out and started to feel a little like xmas! During the day I went to pac and save with Tessa to do the food shopping then libby and I went to the park for a bit.
I went for a lovely ride on Tuesday and went to cambridge to met Beth and got my first xmas present!
Wednesday we had cams family over for xmas lunch. Tessa and cam have me an early xmas present! It was a tin of English roses!!! Yum yum
I went and met Lena Louise and Inge in the evening as it was Inge's birthday.
Thursday was xmas eve and I didn't really do much. I'd offered to make dessert for xmas day but I had a disaster in the kitchen! I was making a chocolate xmas pudding so rice crispies covered in chocolate with malteasers over the top and white chocolate on top but the rice crispies weren't sticking together!! I put them in a round bowl in the fridge and then the freezer but it just wouldn't set so I decided to make a cake instead k out the flour and sugar in the bowl then went to get the butter but we didn't have enough! I was getting really stressed out! Then realised it was 4.30 and hasn't done the kids any dinner!!! I ended up just putting white chocolate over the top of the rice crispies and dipped some strawberries in white and milk chocolate! I needed a glass of wine after all that!!
I slept in hunters room in xmas eve so we could wake up together xmas morning. He woke up in the night asking if I wanted some water!! I was awake before both hunter and libby!! They woke up about 7 I think and Tessa and cam were home which was nice! Hunter was so excited to see that santa had been! It was so nice seeing them open all of their presents. They got me a really nice stirrup necklace that is made in Cambridge. I skyped my mum and terry dad and June Lesley spoke to Stuart and Nicki. Lesley is paying for a spa day when I'm home and Nicki got me a Percy pig onesie and Stuart and Nicki are buying me a links of london bracelet for Xmas and my birthday! Mum sent me some chocolates and she put some money in my account and is paying for me to learn how to play polo when I'm home! I'm so excited! I have been very spoilt! Tessas parents and brother came round for xmas lunch and they all helped milk in the afternoon and we went down to the jetty to have wine and chips and dips! It was so nice. The weather was amazing it was really cold in the morning and I was thinking I'd be in jeans all day but it soon warmed up to be nice and hot!

On Boxing Day we all went to pironga to the races. It was so much fun and such a hot day. People had gazebos sofas bbqs the lot! To bet on a race you just had to pay a dollar for a ticket so you didn't know what horse you were getting! I got one that was scratched on the first race and on the second race hunter had one called red Sheeran so I swapped with him. It turns out it wasn't and the horse I had was scratched and hunters horse won and he won $6.50!!!!! I went for a walk with hunter and tessas parents to get his winnings and on the way back we got a 99 from the ice cream van! It melted so quickly as it was sooo hot! We had to get back for milking and on the way home we stopped again for ice cream!! Lucky us!

I was so tired when we got home! Everyone went and milked and I looked after hunter and libby and tided up and chilled once tessas family left I took my presents to my room tided up a bit then we had dinner and I was in bed asleep by 8 I was soooo tired!

I've really enjoyed this xmas it's been my best one away from home but I have missed some of the English traditions like going to the pub xmas day!
