This morning we headed off to Kalbarri National Park to the Z-Bend Gorge, The Loop and Natures Window. Here we went down 150m into the heart of the Murchisons Gorge. Here we did some abseiling down a sheer wall. It was an optional extra and i wasnt sure if i wanted to do it, but i decided to push myself into it as i've done it before and surely it wouldnt b too bad. However waitin my turn i got more and more nervous and when i was actually doing it i was so scared i nearly cried!! When i finally got back on firm ground i just sort of lowered myself onto my back and just lay there for a while cause i didnt know if my legs would work, however i had to move cause other people were comin down! I had also been holding onto the rope so tight i gave myself cramp in my arm lol! Dont understand how i can b so scared of it when i did it when i was younger and loved it?!

From there we headed a bit further in to a wee river where we sat for a while and chilled out. We then headed back up the gorge and even did a bit of rock climbing on the way back up. I found this fine even tho i'd been so scared of the abseiling, strange! We then headed up to Natures Window which is like a hole in a rock that looks like a window, had some really awesome views of the gorge!

From the national park we headed along one of the straightest roads in Western Australia towards the World Heritage Listed Shark Bay. We are staying in a wee town called Denham for the next couple of nights. Went to the beach again to watch the sunset with a few bevies again. Its amazing the colours u get in the sky when the sunsets, having some clouds actually makes it far more impressive!

Dinner tonight was some pizzas in Cafe Denham with most of the group and was pretty good. After dinner we picked up those of the group who hadnt been at dinner to go to the natural springs hot tub at the Peron Homestead. It was a bit weird cause we were driving along in the pitch black to what seemed the middle of nowhere, and we all actually started thinkin that Luke was may well gonna kill us all lol!! However we did eventually get there and there was a hot tub, thank god! So we all got in and it was roasting, couldnt believe how hot it was!! It was really nice tho cause we'd taken some drink up as well so we all just sat there in the hot tub under stars with a really bright moon and just chatted away.

Eventually decided we'd better head back to the hostel, but most of us stayed up and carried on drinkin. We had a few people join us in our room which was pretty good chat.
