So me and Beccy headed into the center to meet up with this guy to go out to the SummerNats, however he was about an hour late and we had spent the time just wandering about the shops and i had literally just said will we just dingy this guy if he calls now its been so long and at that point he rang! So we went and met him and he drove us out to the SummerNats thing where he was a fireman and managed to get us in for free. We wandered about for a bit but to be honest it was rather boring. It was pretty cool seeing all the different cars, but it was really just a testosterone fest for guys, not really mine and Beccys thing! The one good thing was that we had a vodka slushy thing which was really nice, i had a fire engine one which was pink and yummy! However we did leave after a while cause we were quite bored.

Oh and the guy had found us 1 job but he turned it down for us! The job was working for the Jack Daniels tshirt stall, wearing a tiny JD top and hot pants with high heals and trying to get folk to come in and buy tshirts. Now as cheap as this job would make u feel, I am rather skint and had it been even $15/hour I may well hav done it, however we did find out that the girls were only getting paid $5/hour!! It is incredible that there were actually girls doing it!

Ended up heading into the center to try and book our bus down to Melbourne but unfortunately the earliest bus we could get was Sunday night, couldnt believe it! And am so skint I was not looking forward to having to pay for our hostel for another 2 nights. However we were quite lucky in that when we were paying for tonight we happened to say to the woman on reception if there was any cleaning work going for free accomodation we would be up for doing it, and later on that night she came to us and said she did hav work for us and for the next 2 days which meant we saved $70!!

That night we ended up talking to the boys Beccy had been talking to the previous night. We also ended up having a few drinks with them. Discovered the joys of Passion Pop and Spumante, I just love that name! Anyway was really good fun, the boys were from Tasmania and there was also a couple of English girls who happened to be from Reading. We all sat and chatting and drinking and playing drinking games. Was good fun but for some reason I was so much more sober than everyone else and they were all making so much noise even tho we'd been told several times to keep the noise down, so i decided to go to bed earlier than everyone else. Oh and we'd had to move rooms for that night to one that didnt hav any windows which was pretty weird.
