En-route to Budapest (Sleeping in Pecs)
We've had an interesting day. We woke with the new plan of zipping into Austria in search of a new tyre. That's what one does of cause, just drives through a new country in search of what you need.
The drive through Austria was quite beautiful, fields and fields of sunflowers as apposed to the white poppies throughout the Czech Republic.
Thanks to Jeremy's help (from Australia) we were able to find a Michelin tyre place and get back on the road with relative ease...thanks Jem.
Our car has now been nicknamed 'Mitchy' in honour of the very specific and odd tyre we had to find. On the topic of names, Nelly, our gps, has taken us on a very exciting back-road tour of Hungary thus far. We have each had a turn of driving (except mum who doesn't have a licence) and we are doing well.
It is amazing how each country is different - country side, houses, services. There is a big difference between Austria and Hungary that's for sure.
We arrived at our accommodation for the night and I befriended a small kitten and its mother. They are very cute.
Time for dinner....
