En-route for Budapest (sleeping at Cesky Krumlov)
Praise God for willing, helpful people. A torn tyre in Tabor lead to an expedition through various small and large towns in search for a place to sell us a replacement. Unfortunately the tyre was not a common size so we were trekking all over Ceske Budejovice all to no avail. By 3pm we gave up the search and continued our travels arriving just outside Cesky Krumlov desperate for some lunch.
Walking through Cesky Krumlov was quite special and we are now heading for our accommodation for the evening.
Tabor (before the tyre incident) was good. The small square had beautiful shops and a quant church. Andrew climbed the tower and got some photos of the area. We had to pay to use the bathroom (as we have in most of the Czech Republic) 4kr per pee....we can't really complain. That is only .25 of a cent AUD and they were very clean and no shortage of toilet paper. That being said, we've had to make sure to always have korun in our pockets.
The town after Tabor, Trebon was overrun by cyclists....including kids in yellow t-shirts and the one after than it was canoes, inflatable rafts and kayaks.
