Bag debarkles.....an unexpected trip to Toowong and a sigh of relief later, Andrew and I are at the airport ready and excited to begin the next leg of our journey. Cut a long story short, arrived in Brisbane last night, no bag, Jetstar service desk, home and sleep later at 7am we get a phone call to say bag was picked up by an elderly gentleman from a Qantas flight. We are off. We left Innisfail with the knowledge that we wee sitting 10 rows apart but were reunited by a kind Jetstar counter person who put us in the emergency row...so not only did I get my husband we also got extra leg room! Yay!!! Andrew is asleep. Not a great start to a holiday, being exhausted but he has worked super hard the last few weeks. I miss my babies already but I know they will be well loved while we are away (thanks Leigh). For a while I think...

It's been a busy day of cleaning and catching up with people before we leave. The cats and I are enjoying a brief forced rest on the deck. Forced because the vacuum cleaner wheel broke off and I'm waiting for Andrew to get home to fix it. I looked up the weather in some of the countries we are visiting...it's going to brisk. Their summer is the same as an Innisfail winter. I'm starting to get excited. Only 5 days now.

Well it is 9 days until Andrew and I fly to Brisbane and 10 days until we leave to meet mum and dad in Germany. We are reaching the pointy end of organisation....so much to do and remember. Mum and dad fly out tonight so they are packed and sorted. I'm not sure what I will do with my planner leaving me...my lists will have to do. Well, I'll leave it there. For you Brisbaneites we will see you in 9 days...everyone else, hopefully we'll catch up before we leave.
