I cant believe its Christmas Eve! Its really not very christmassy here at all, we went shopping today and they still had turkeys in the supermarket!! There's no way you'd get one on xmas eve at home! I only just saw the coca cola advert on TV this morning too! We went to watch Peter sing last night in a shopping centre which wasn't too bad, made me feel a little christmassy but not like home!
Me, Mum and Terry went to Perth on the 14th to see Jack! It was so nice to see him but the time went so quickly, it doesn't really feel like i've seen him! We had a really good time though, we stayed in the City on the first night, the hotel was really nice. We went for a walk and I got myself some UGG boots!! Jack and Terry went to the pub while mum and I looked round a few shops, I didn't realise that I'd just left Jack with Terry and they had only just met!! Whoops, but they got on ok! We went and had Outback Jacks for dinner.
The next day we headed down to Margaret River, on the way we stopped at Jack's Nan and Grandad's I was a bit nervous but they were really nice, Terry enjoyed himself too as Jacks Grandad makes stuff out of wood, it was really impressive, he showed us his shed which is bigger that most people's houses! He had so much equipment and he makes, tables, chairs, beds, fruit bowls and more, its really good stuff. We visited a chesse factory in Margaret River and got some lovely cheese and biscuits for dinner. Again our hotel was really nice and we had a spa bath in our room!! We had a spa as soon as we got to the hotel as it was a really long drive down to Margaret River! We met up in the evening and went for a drink, we were talking about going back to have the cheese and Terry said where is the cheese because they didn't have it and I said well we dont and Terry was adament that they didn't have the cheese!! We left Terry in the pub as it was an open mic night and he wanted to hear this young boy play his guitar so we got back and looked for the chesse, we sent Jack to the car to look and me and mum were in her room and i'd given her an xmas present but she hadn't opened it yet so I said to her to open it and it was in the cupboard so I got it out then there was a bag next to it so I said what's in there and guess what it was the chesse!!! You might not find it funny but we thought it was really funny that it was in the cupboard! It tasted really nice though so prob better it was there and not in the fridge!
The following day we visited some wineries, a chocolate factory, got more cheese!! and went to a nut factory!! We had a really good day going round everywhere and got lots of bits and pieces, we got more cheese for dinner that night as it was so nice, but made sure we all knew where it was! We had a BBQ by the actual River in Margaret River which was really nice. We had another nice spa in the evening before we went out and just went for a drink in the evening.
Then it was time to head back to Perth, we stopped at the chocolate factory for coffee and cake, I had an amazing hot chocolate it was just chocolate buttons with hot milk, yum yum and Jack and I shared a chocolate brownie with ice cream! We went to Boyup to have lunch and see Gillian, dropped in on Jacks Nan and Grandad again and also went to visit Jacks sister! I was nervous about meeting his sister but she was really nice. It took forever to get back to Perth. It was really busy in Perth too as it was a Friday night and the weekend before Christmas! We checked in and went for a walk we were going to go for a drink but Jack and I were tired so we just got a KFC and took it back to our room!!
Then came the last day of being with Jack!! We went to Freemantle during the day and we took mum and Terry to a famous fish and chip shop right on the water front. Mum and Terry loved it! In the evening Jack and I went out for dinner on our own as a Christmas present from Mum and Terry. We went to a place called Olivers, we shared a pizza that had pumpkin, fetta and all our favourite stuff that you could have on a pizza, we also shared some vegatable parcel things, it was a really nice meal. We then got some ice cream on the way home, we only ordered a small one with 2 flavours but because there wasn't much left of both flavours the guy filled it up!! It was yummy! We had a really nice night but I was sad because I don't no when I'll see Jack again!! The next morning at the airport was horrible, I tried not to cry but I did, my cried too!
I was ok for a few days but now i'm really really missing Jack and getting very sad about going home, I'm looking forward to going home to see everyone but will miss travelling.
Once we got back to Sydney, Terry went back to Peter's and Mum and I stayed in the City. We went straight to Paddys Market and finished our xmas shopping! In the evening we went out for Pizza Hut, it was yummy! We had a buffet and there was chips, garlic bread, ice cream, chocolate cakes and so much more than you get at home!!
On Monday Mum and I went to The Opera House to the Nutcracker Ballet, it was amazing! The seats were mean't to be restricted view but we could see really well. The dancing was amazing. In the break mum had a glass of champagne and I had a mango Cocktail. We went to the Belgium Chocolate cafe for a hot chocolate. We had a really good night.
Terry and Peter came to meet us for lunch on Tuesday and we went to Coogee where it all began for me! It was a bit sad going back there as it bought back so many memories!
I started to pack the other day but got really stressed out with it all as i'm not ready to go home and like I keep saying I'm going to really miss Jack!!
