We got off the overnight train and had breakfast by the station, then got minibuses to Khao Sok National Park to check into the place we were staying. It was called Morning Mist and consisted of little wooden bungalows, which were awesome and had a little balcony with deckchairs on it. After we had settled in we got songtheaws down to the river and went tubing (which is bascially sitting in a rubber ring and going down the river). That was pretty awesome. We came back and had dinner at Morning Mist, had some very strong cocktails but we were good and didn't get drunk.
The next day we went on a tour, the minibuses picked us up early and took us to the national park, here we got on a speedboat which took us a long way to an island, where we did a trek through a jungle. We didn't really see alot of animals but it was still good. At the end of that we took bamboo speedboats to a cave, which was massive. We weren't allowed to touch any of the wallls, which seemed virtually impossible when I kept falling over. After that we went back on the bamboo speddboat, back through the jungle and on the other speedboat to have lunch. It was a buffet and was so nice, after that we went swimming in the lake, which was wicked as it was surrounded by mountains. We also tried kayaking which didn't really work that well. That evening we had a bbq at a reggae bar, which had the most amazing chicken. We also had cocktails. I ordered a flaming shot accidently, which I had to drink through a straw, which was not at all fun. I actually thought I was going to die.
