We got the mini buses early from Khao Sok, though they didn't turn up for ages, to Krabi. When we arrived it was around lunchtime so we checked into the hotel, had lunch and then went down to the beach. Went swimming for a bit and then went shopping on the road where our hotel is. It was a bad plan as we bought loads, though luckily Thailand is cheap we didn't break the bank too much. That evening we went out for an Italian. I had a pizza, it was lush. After that we all bought alcohol and got drunk of the beach (all 17 of us) which reminded me of being at home oddly enough! i had a little bottle of vodka but then ran out so went to get more. Kate came with me but then went back to the hotel. I went back to the beach. Put the rest of Kates vodka in my alcopops (surefire way to get drunk). We stayed there for a bit and then got tuk tuks to the Luna Bar, which was a bit up the road. Had some cocktails there, saw a flame thrower on the beach then decided it would be a good idea to share a bucket of whisky and coke with Gus (its a whole bottle of whisky in there!) and that the last thing I remember until I woke up the next morning and Kate had already come back from the cooking course she was doing.
That day everyone went to the beach and I had to meet them later as I couldn't get out of bed. Eventually made it was Railey beach, which was a nice little beach a longtail boat away (I really thought I was going to be sick on the boat). Didn't spend too long there as we had to get back for dinner. We had an all you can eat bbq at a restaurant near our hotel. There was also all you can eat ice cream!
The final day in Krabi we went on a speedboat tour, where we went to a number of different islands and snorkelled. We saw a load of fish, all different kinds. No sharks thankfully. We also went to the Island where The Beach was filmed, which was pretty cool. Except while in the water trying to take a photo I tripped over a rock and dunked my camera in the water. It kinda still works but isn't great. We couldn't decide what to do for dinner in the evening so we went back to the Italian. I had Carbonara for the first time in two weeks. We had an amusing waitress, who was dramatic in everything she did. Went on a last wander around the shops and then had an early night.
