Went to Disneyland Tokyo yesterday and today. Yesterday we went to the main park, decided to leave early and then got there and had to wait for 45 minutes to actually get in. Tickets were quite cheap, 10000 yen for two days, which is around 40 pound. It was also really easy to get to by train from our hostel.
Disney was awesome, though everything was in Japanese so you didn't get the full effect. The park is much bigger than the one in Paris and is more like Disneyworld in Florida (except a hell of a lot colder!). Two of the best rides Space Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean were shut but we still had alot of fun. Kate went in every shop imaginable and we ate honey and lemon churros, which tasted a bit like cough sweets, but nice nonetheless.
Today we went to the DisneySea Park. We had to get the Disney monorail from the station to the park even though it was right next door, we also had to pay 200 yen for the privilege! (I'm being stingey again, its not even one pound). I was quite excited about this park as I hadn't been to one like it. It was supposed to be water themed though some of the rides were blatently not water themed! Had an awesome day.Our favourite ride of the day was Journey to the Centre of the Earth, which starts off as a normal ride through the earth (as you do) and then turns into a roller coaster. We also loved the Tower of Terror, even though the plot was a bit weird and involved a little green voodoo spirit thing!
