We decided to get some sleep and so we didn`t get up until late. Hung around the hostel until 3, did some washing. Which actually made the clothe dirtier than they were before due to the extreme amount of fluff in the dryer.

We hit upon the good plan of going out late in the day, staying out for dinner and then going to a karaoke bar straight from there. So we got the subway to Shinsaibashi and wandered round the shops for a while. It was a bit pointless as we weren`t actually going to buy anything, but it was good to see all the shops.

Had dinner in KFC, it was the cheapest place which sold chicken and had a menu that we could point to easily. The food however wasn`t really that nice.

Our search for a karaoke bar didn`t go that well, as we discovered that most (if not all) the karaoke bars are just rooms that you can hire out so work much better if you have a group to go with. We decided that as it was just the two of us not to bother.

We wandered around bit more, looked like complete tourists by taking photos of everything in sight (a big crab on a building for one), ended up sat on a bench singing to My Chemical Romance, which was playing in a shop. We decided that counted as karaoke. After a verse or so, and some weird looks from people walking past we discovered we were actually sat outside a porn shop (hence the weird looks!) so we left! By this time we hadn`t a clue where we were so started randomly walking and actually found the subway station (by luck more than judgement!) and squished onto the busiest train you are ever likely to see. It was a bit scary!

Tommorrow we are going to Kobe, I`m quite excited by this because I`ve become a bit obsessed with earthquakes since I`ve been here. I would actually quite like to be in one, which Kate thinks is weird...which to be honest probably is.
