Hey guys, we have a arrived safely!! We touched down in Frankurt at around 2.30.Was a really quick flight, took about an hour and 10mins. Not bad eh! WE didnt have anywhere booked to stay so we asked a guy in the tourist info at the airport and he gave a map and marked out a hostel. It didnt look to far so we caught a train in to the centre and decided to walk it... We walked for about an hour or so along the river under 4 bridges in the rather hot sun with our nice and heavy bags on our backs.We finally found the hostel only to be told they had no more vacancies!!! Argh, came to mind.lol! The guy there told us we had to head back to the train station and see about a hostel around there. We walked back and found the next place , luckily they had some rooms.So we booked up for two nights... After setteling in and have a well deserved shower we headed of in search of some food. We were sooO hungry we setteled for the well known german delicousy.....Macdonalds! lol After that we went for a stroll around the beautiful Frankfurt ( and it really is) and came across a food , wine and beer market..So typical as we were full on our Macdonalds to eat or drink anything else :0( so we promised ourselfs we would go today..and we did. As we are writing this the thai cuisine is going down quite nicely, topped up with a Bindings beer. (local german beer) Oh and we just so happen to be smack bang in the middle of Frankfurts redlight district.We went in a shop today and it made ann summers look soO tame.lol.. Well thats it for now, still not sure were we are going nxt but will update as soon as poss. Take care , kie and han x x
